Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749–1817) can not only be regarded as the founder of today’s disciplines geology and mineralogy, but he was also a studied lawyer and had diverse scholarly interests: whether personal language acquisition and reading of contemporary literates, his linguistic studies also make a significant share of his scientific achievement.
NOTE: Because of illness, the lecture could not take place as originally planned on 28.06., but only on 05.07.!
